Angel Babies: Infant Loss Support Group

This ministry provides mothers, fathers, and family who have experienced the loss of a child with spiritual support and fellowship. Participants learn about the stages of grief and share with others who have undergone similar experiences. They meet on the second Thursday of each month from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the parish office conference room.

The Four Tasks of Grieving

1. Accept the reality and finality of death.

2. Allow yourself to feel the depth of the pain
     ~  Recognize emotions
     ~  Acknowledge emotions
~  Find a way to release them

3. Adjust to an environment in which the deceased is missing.

4. Moving on with life

The Grief Support Program objectives:

  • To increase the understanding of the grief process
  • To normalize the grief process.
