Parishioners volunteer to prepare a basket from items donated to our annual Christmas Basket food-drive for those in all of Mandan and Morton County in need. Your assistance  is needed to pack ,food items and to distribute baskets to the needy in the Mandan area. This is a ministry opportunity for the entire family! It is that time of year again when the Christian Service Ministry together with the Outreach Food Program begin planning for the delivery of holiday food baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmas to local families in need. We are asking the Spirit of Life to be especially generous by donating non-perishable food and toiletry items in the coming weeks that will help fill our food pantry. A table will be placed in the corner for dropping off items are located at the back of the Church and near the Parish Center office for your convenience.

Food and toiletry items are not just needed during the holiday season but all through the year. The Outreach Food Ministry, along with many volunteers, pack and deliver food each week to those families in need in the community who have been identified and referred.

It is through the donations of food, toiletries, and monetary donations that both ministries are able to assist community families in need. So next time you are buying groceries and see a great deal on peanut butter, pasta, tuna, vegetables, etc. please pick up a few items and drop them off !
