Children’s Liturgy of the Word

To make the scriptures more accessible to young listeners, our parish offers a separate Liturgy of the Word program for pre-school through 2nd grade children during the Liturgy of the word portion of the mass. The children process out of the church to attend a kid-centered teaching of the Sunday scriptures and return at the offertory. This program is offered during every 9am and 11am Sunday Masses except on Easter Sunday and during the summer. Adult and high-school aged helps are welcomed and greatly appreciated. Second graders should also be registered for CCD which is on Wednesday nights.  They should also register for First Reconciliation/First Communion.  The cost for Grade 2 CCD/First Reconciliation and First Eucharist is $30.00.
