In 1990 Spirit of Life opened their doors and hearts to Christ in a whole new way. Our parish family began not only providing free lunches for those in need, but also fellowship in a spiritual and welcoming atmosphere. Through this ministry, a free meal of soup, sandwich, coffee, juice and dessert is enjoyed by people of all income levels, young and elderly, homeless, handicapped, or those who simply enjoy fellowship. It is open to all people of all faiths. This past season, about 4,000 meals were served. The ministry is funded through the Spirit of Life outreach account, contributions and donations of food from our community. Men, women and couples of all ages make up our volunteer base. We are always in need of more volunteers. To join our ministry or for more information, please contact Mari Jo at 663-1660 or email at marijo@myspiritoflife.com
